In no event shall Linx Communications be liable for any damages (including, but not limited to: procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or, business interruption) however caused, and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort, real or implied, arising in any way out of the use of this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
Instructions:
To access your LinxConnect account with LinxWeb, simply:
- Type your 10-digit LinxConnect number (3-digit area code and 7-digit number) in the space provided below, without any hyphens, parentheses, spaces, or other characters.
- You will then be presented with a message box titled "Enter Network Password". It will instruct you to "Please enter your authentication information." There will be 3 lines, the first of which states "Resource: LinxWeb".
The next 2 lines ask for your "User Name" and "Password".
User Name: Please re-enter your complete 10-digit LinxConnect number (3-digit area code and 7-digit number) - without hyphens, parentheses, spaces, or other characters.
Password: Your LinxConnect passcode (the password you use to access your LinxConnect account via the telephone interface).
After you have entered both your "User Name" and "Password" click "Okay" button.
- You should now be in your LinxConnect mailbox, under LinxWeb!
Please note: If you are not in your LinxConnect mailbox under LinxWeb, please go to our Customer Support page on the Linx web site, at www.linxcom.com.
You should bookmark this page for speedier access in the future. Simply click on the Control ("Ctrl") and the letter "d" now, and you will automatically bookmark the LinxWeb page.
To access your messages stored in LinxConnect through LinxWeb, click on the "Message" button on the left side of the screen. You will now be presented with all of the messages currently in your LinxConnect mailbox. Simply click on the message number under "Play". You will then see a Microsoft Sound Player box pop up, and you should hear the message begin to play for you. Once the message has stopped playing, please close the Sound Player box by clicking on the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the box itself. If you don't you will have multiple Sound Player boxes open after listening to multiple voice mail messages.
To view your faxes from this interface, click on the "FAX" line in the toolbar on this page, and you should see your fax mailbox under LinxConnect. To view one of your faxes, simply click on the selected fax under the "View Fax" column.
Please type in your LinxConnect number in the space below, and hit GO.
NOTE: To ensure that your messages remain private and confidential, please close your browser after each LinxWeb session. If you don't close your browser, your LinxWeb unified communications box will remain active and accessible via the "BACK" key of your browser.
